Viña Tipaume is an exclusive 200% organic vineyard situated at the foot of the Andes in the Alto Cachapoal region in Chile. The vines, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenere, 5% Merlot, 3% Lacrima Cristi and 2% Viogner are all ungrafted, and never receive any nutrient nor irrigation, thanks to a deep root system and a gentle viticulture. The winery is underground “sous la maison” and winemaking is realized all by gravity, in “integrates” oak barrels, without pumping, filtration, nor fining. Harvest usually takes place in early May, and bottling is done 12,5 month later, in Burgundy bottles, all hand numbered.
